The Mandai Loop Story

Residing in Singapore for the last 4 years the founder of Mandai Loop, Susanna Fagring, found her sanctuary and inspiration in riding her bike around Singapore's incredible nature. Her favorite biking stretch is called Mandai Loop and it was during one of the rides on this specific stretch where her idea of offering the creative industry something different started to grow.

A year later Susanna has collected some of the sharpest strategic and creative minds who’s working together to bring a more flexible and lean approach to solving marketing challenges for brands,
individuals and organizations.

Between us we have many years of experience creating impactful and effective strategies for some of the most well known international brands from all over the globe.

Susanna Fagring

Susanna strongly believes in the power of creativity. Not only to help connect brands with consumers on a storytelling level, but also to bring people together in an organization to shape more human and disruptive cultures and output. She believes there is creative excellence to be discovered in any organization and individual and she loves helping organizations to get there.

In her 20+ year long career Susanna has helped many companies transform into globally awarded brands with significant business impact. During her 17 years with creative agency Forsman & Bodenfors, the agency emerged to become one of the most awarded agencies in the world and was recognized by Cannes Lions as one of the best independent agencies of the decade in 2020. She has been awarded by Cannes Lions, Clios, D&AD, Epica, Spikes and LIA. The Glass Lion for SKII’s campaign Marriage Market in 2016 is the one closest to her heart.

In August 2018 Susanna moved to Singapore to set up Forsman & Bodenfors and acted as CEO until December 2021, leaving a creative powerhouse of 22 people. During her time in Asia she was a strong advocate for increasing the number of women in leadership positions. In 2020 she was Shortlisted for “CEO of the Year” and “Entrepreneurship of the Year” in Campaign Asia’s Women Leading Change Awards.

In January 2022 she started Mandai Loop with the aim to offer the industry a more flexible and scalable set up with some of the best strategists and creatives in the world.

Julia Blomquist

During her 10 years as a strategist, Julia has created impactful and award-winning strategies for some of the world’s most renowned brands like IKEA, Zalando, Häagen-Dazs, Electrolux and P&G. She strives to create strategies that generate effective, purpose-driven and inclusive work for her clients.

For the past years Julia has been working at Forsman & Bodenfors across both the Stockholm and Singapore offices. She’s led the strategic development for some of F&Bs key clients and was a member of the Singapore leadership team and a key player in developing F&Bs offer and positioning in the APAC region.

She is a strong advocate and believer in collaboration and inclusion and has spoken about the impact of workplace culture on the strategic and creative process at international stages like D&AD and ADC.

Julia has written several effectiveness studies for clients that has been published in WARC and other marketing intelligence platforms, she's been named the second most awarded strategist in the world by the World Creative rankings and has received over 130 international awards including Cannes Lions, D&AD, WARC and Effies.

My Troedsson

My is driven by curiosity to understand businesses’ as well as people's behaviors, needs and dreams - and to shape knowledge, data and insights into impactful strategies and creative ideas. She is an experienced strategist and curious problem solver with a proven track record of helping brands discover their purpose and make impactful work.

Before joining forces with Susanna and Julia in Mandai Loop in 2022, My spent 12 years at the Swedish creative agency Forsman & Bodenfors. In 2018 she relocated to Singapore together with Susanna Fagring to set up the agency’s’ Singapore office. As a co-founder and leadership team member she played a central role in establishing and developing the agency during her 3 years in the region.

My has created meaningful and award-winning strategies and work for international brands such as P&G and Volvo Cars. Her work has been awarded globally in shows such as Cannes Lions, Clio, D&AD, Epica, WARC and LIA, with highlights being an IPA Effectiveness Silver for SKII’s Marriage Market in 2018 and a Glass Lion for the same campaign in 2016.
